I just settled a claim for whiplash, associated neck and back problems that I allege still exist. However, my insurance company refused to pay me for any lost wages (I am self employed) just prior to my hiring an attorney. In the settlement with the companay of the gent who hit me (clearly at fault) there was included a sum for lost wages. Does this mean I have no claim against my insurance company?
